The story of a photographer
I am a Mum of 7 beautiful kids and life around here is busy, loud, and lots of fun. I am based in a little country town called Temora which is 1 hour north of Wagga, in the gorgeous Riverina region in NSW. I have loved photography since I was a little girl and followed my Dad around begging to have a go of his Polaroid Camera. When I was in high school I won a photography prize in a major Sydney paper held for students and that had me hooked. I finished school and went to Uni in Sydney to study art and photography. During that time I won another 2 major prizes for my photography and inspired by a fantastic photographer, who was also my lecturer, I just kept going. Having kids slowed my process for a while but then I started photographing them as newborns which led to photographing other people's babies which led to a real expansion in my business. I adore newborns and after having 7 of my own, I can safely say that I know exactly how to soothe and calm most babies. Photography is really the joy that lights my spark. I daily crave the creativity of photography. It is as vital to me as breathing. My biggest joy is to see people view their photos with tears in their eyes. I know then my job is done.
